Japan

I could write about countless places, but Japan holds a unique and special place in my heart. Why? I’m not entirely sure. Perhaps it’s the food, the snow-covered landscapes, or the rich culture. Maybe it’s for the anime that sparks imagination or the timeless tradition of sumo wrestling. It’s for what’s immediately visible and for what lies beneath the surface. I admire their sense of community and the deep respect they have for nature. I’m drawn to how everything seems so beautifully simple, yet at times, profoundly intricate. I love how Japan looks, how it tastes, the stories it weaves, and the emotions those stories evoke. And most importantly, I’m captivated by how nature remains at the heart of it all, grounding and inspiring everything around it.

When I think of nature and biodiversity, this is the place I’ve been to that comes to mind. Unama

A boat... but so much more. A world tour... yet far beyond. People, places, experiences, nature, cultures, food, and music. Trains, cars, stars, and dreams. Thirteen years spent with this boat, crossing the world. Shared with four other families, traveling alongside friends. Countless stories, each one shaping who I am today. I’ve seen life at its fullest—beauty, wonder, and connection—but also the depths of pain and poverty. I’ve witnessed breathtaking, magical moments, yet they are incredibly fragile. To me, this boat is a reminder of the responsibility we all share: to care. To care for our relationships, for the planet, for the present, and for the future.
